I offer my humble obeisances at the lotus feet of Srila Gurudeva, Sri Srimad Bhaktivedanta Narayana Gosvami Maharaja.

I have been associated with Houston’s Sri Govindaji Gaudiya Math since 2014. It was my wife who found this place and brought me here. I have been to other Radha Krishna temples but the bonding and community feeling that I felt here was unparalleled.

I was not fortunate enough to meet Srila Gurudeva in person but Lord was kind enough to provide company of his disciples. First time I heard Srila Gurudeva’s voice was during one of the the Sunday evening programs and somebody played his first recording of the lecture he gave to Houston disciples. His command on Hindi and Sanskrit was amazing! Even more amazing was his katha and how he explained the deep aspects of Bhakti that even an ignorant fool like me was able to understand it.

I am thankful to Krishna that he allowed a personality like him to be present among us and share the wonderful wealth of knowledge.
